Our company is unique in that we provide complete design services in-house. We use the latest CAD technology to design your new home. We meet with our customers and discuss the many issues of designing and building a home. We cover topics such as plan ideas, building site, budget, likes and dislikes and how your lifestyle may impact the design. If it is a remodel or renovation, we like to meet on site in order to discuss the desired results. We then proceed with creating the floorplans. These drawings will enable you to think more clearly about the layout and design. We will proceed with changes and modifications to 'fine tune' your plans. Some customers find it difficult to visualize the end. result. Not a problem! We tailor our design process to each customer. From these plans we can begin to record more details about your home that will become part of the Specifications. Specifications are the written description of materials to be used in your home. Once the floorplan is finalized, elevations can be created to give you a visual picture of your home from all sides. After the plans are completed, we guide you through all the selections-from exterior finish details to interior treatments. We will work with you to select phumbing fixtures, cabinetry, even the lighting. With the completed drawings and specifications we will prepare a detailed job cost using your allowances and selections. This will be combined with a construction contract document for your review. A great asset throughout construction. is our BuildLinks program. This is a great on-line tool that keeps you aware of the construction schedule and upcoming selection decisions. Of course, Karen and the project superintendant are always available throughout construction on a daily basis. We know there are many items to consider when building, but we feel that we have developed a great process for making it an enjoyable experience with a rewarding outcome. |
