Mike Kohler
Project Manager
Hoffman Builders Inc.

Mike has been with Hoffman Builders since 1991 and has 18 years of experience in the construction field.

He has extensive experience in custom home building, renovation, and remodeling. He oversees our estimating, purchasing, supervision of our superintendents, future projects, subdivisions, and job schedules as well as working with customers through the entire building process.

James Simpson
Superintendent
Hoffman Builders Inc.

James relocated from Kansas City in 2003 with his wife and three children. In Kansas City, he worked for a homebuilder for six-and-a-half years. He started at the bottom as a laborer picking up trash at job sites and was quickly promoted to a foreman with wide spread responsibilities. He did punch/warranty work, rough/finish grading, built decks, trimmed, painted, and landscaped the houses. With 3 years of hard work ethic and a key eye for details, he was promoted to a superintendent. Upon arriving in North Carolina James worked for a High Point Land development company. He handled land clearing, grading, laying of water and sewer lines and landscaping for a large subdivision in Burlington, NC.

James has been a Superintendent with HoffmanBuildersInc. since April of 2004. His responsibilities include but are not limited to estimating, scheduling, planning and overseeing high quality construction and workmanship; but his most important job is customer satisfaction.

Rose Mary Duffin
Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Hoffman Builders Inc.

Rose Mary Duffin has served as our bookkeeper and office manager since February of 2005. Her role as bookkeeper includes accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. As our office manager her duties include answering telephones, maintaining office files and records, and tracking job costs.

She is a native of North Carolina although she lived in Utah, Idaho, Washington State and Kentucky prior to her return to NC with the birth of her first grandchild. She has three grown children: two daughters in NC and a son in Amsterdam.

Rose Mary has worked as an Office Manager in several settings including a law office, retirement condominium, and worked for several years for the President and two VP's of A&W Root Beer.
